What a pleasure it was working with this family! I met Becky through the local playgroup organization here, and she is as sweet as she is lovely. The McDonald’s chose the Botanic Gardens in Grapevine for their family portrait session, on a bright and sunny Sunday morning. The weather and the location were fantastic, but the family is what made it so fun.

When a friend asked if she could book a session of various pilates poses for her business marketing materials, I was a little hesitant because this certainly is not my specialty or even something I offer. August 23rd was an exciting day, Finley was starting second grade, and yet we were all a little sad too. Finley was brave and tried to hold back her tears when we dropped her off, I tried to hold back mine all day. Reagan missed her sister and playmate. But here we are, three weeks later, second grade is going well and we have settled back into our school routine.
I love you Finley girl, and I am so proud of you!

A couple weeks ago I met the Little family for a family portrait session. I have had the pleasure of working with the Little family before, and this time we added David’s family to the mix. The summer has been brutally hot here in our neck of the woods, so my outdoor portrait sessions have been late in the evening or very early in the morning to avoid the heat. Jett’s bedtime made it impossible to schedule his session in the evening, so his parents opted for an early morning session. We met at the vintage train station for his session on a Sunday morning in July, one of my favorite outdoor locations.
Jett is a happy baby who loves to hear his Daddy’s voice, and cuddle with his Mom. He was so much fun, and so adorable! John and Jesseca, thank you for the opportunity to work with you. I hope you love the results, and I look forward to working with you again in the future!
I was so excited when I received an email from a client and friend, letting me know that their baby boy had arrived and they were ready to set up his newborn session. I had so much fun working with them, and all three of them (plus Grandma) were real troopers. I want to say Thank You to them again for allowing me the pleasure of photographing their new baby, he is absolutely precious!
