Goodbye children, now off to school
Goodbye summer, goodbye

Jett | Grapevine Baby Photographer

The summer has been brutally hot here in our neck of the woods, so my outdoor portrait sessions have been late in the evening or very early in the morning to avoid the heat. Jett’s bedtime made it impossible to schedule his session in the evening, so his parents opted for an early morning session. We met at the vintage train station for his session on a Sunday morning in July, one of my favorite outdoor locations.

Jett is a happy baby who loves to hear his Daddy’s voice, and cuddle with his Mom. He was so much fun, and so adorable! John and Jesseca, thank you for the opportunity to work with you. I hope you love the results, and I look forward to working with you again in the future!

Baby J | Trophy Club Newborn Photographer

I was so excited when I received an email from a client and friend, letting me know that their baby boy had arrived and they were ready to set up his newborn session. I had so much fun working with them, and all three of them (plus Grandma) were real troopers. I want to say Thank You to them again for allowing me the pleasure of photographing their new baby, he is absolutely precious!

Arden & Reid: A Father’s Day Gift | Grapevine Childrens Photographer

A couple months ago Finley’s Girl Scout Troop leader asked about booking a portrait session of her children as a Father’s Day gift for her husband, and I was more than happy to help. I was booked through Father’s Day, but Kendra didn’t mind waiting a bit longer and so we booked her session for June 25th. I fell about a week behind in editing simply because our summer schedule is completely over-booked, but again…Kendra was patient.

Thank you Kendra for allowing me to photograph your beautiful children for such an important occasion, and for your patience while waiting for the finished product. You are a wonderful friend, Girl Scout Troop leader, and now client and I hope I get the opportunity to work with your family again!

Derek, I hope you absolutely love the portraits your wife envisioned and I created…Happy belated Father’s Day!

Reese is 1: Happy Cake Smash! | Trophy Club Baby Photographer

I was beyond thrilled when Angelica asked about booking a one year portrait session for her daughter Reese. When I presented the idea of a cake smash to my friend and client, she was completely on board and picked the perfect soft green tutu to complement the pretty polka-dot cake. We took some time before hand to capture the adorable Miss Reese in her beautiful home, and I couldn’t be happier with the way things went that morning or with the end result.

Thank you Angelica for allowing me into your home to capture a few frames of your beautiful baby girl. I absolutely loved this session from start to finish! You have a beautiful home, and a great eye for outfits…you made my job too easy.

Here are a few from your session…

Shelby | Southlake Childrens Photographer

Last Christmas a friend introduced me to Jennifer, and recommended me for the Visit From Santa event she was hosting in her home. After I photographed the Santa event for her and her friends Jennifer booked her daughter Shelby’s six year session for the month of June, and I couldn’t have been more thrilled. It took some time to settle on the perfect location, and in the end she decided to start the session at Sweet and Sassy in Southlake and then finish up around the Town Square. The location couldn’t have been more perfectly suited for the occasion, and Shelby’s personality.

Jennifer, thank you for allowing me the opportunity to work with you and Shelby again. Shelby was the perfect subject, a beautiful girl with a spunky personality, and I had so much fun with this session. Watch out Momma, you have a little model on your hands!

The Little Family | Westlake Family Photographer

In March I did a session with the Little family in their home, and when Hayley wanted to book an outdoor session I was beyond thrilled. They chose a beautiful location in Westlake, where we met on a Sunday morning. It was hot and a little windy, but we made it work.

David and Hayley, thank you again for your faith in me. You have a beautiful family that you must be so proud of, and I have thoroughly enjoyed working with you. I hope you enjoy these as much as our session in March!

Carter | Trophy Club Baby Photographer

I had so much fun with Carter’s 6 month session! He was delightfully adorable and full of grins and giggles, squeals and happy sounds. I met his mom Carrie through our playgroup Trophy Club Families, and I was thrilled when she wanted to book a session. Carrie is as sweet as they come, and I am blessed to know her and her family!

Thank you so much Carrie, for welcoming me into your home to capture images of your sweet baby boy as he hit his 6 month milestone. I look forward to watching him grow!

Josh & Julie = Jack | Granbury Maternity Photographer

I can’t say enough good things about my forever friend Cherie, and her little sis Julie is just as lovely. I was so excited when she emailed to ask about setting up a Maternity session! Josh and Julie have waited patiently for this day to come, and I am so excited for them that they will be meeting their sweet baby boy for the first time very soon.

On a very windy day in April I met Josh, Julie, and her mom in Granbury where we strolled through the historic square, and then ended up in a beautiful nearby park to finish our session. Julie was such a trooper, and always with a smile on her face. I think you will agree, she was simply glowing.

Josh and Julie, thank you so much for being you! I look forward to meeting sweet little Jack soon.

Here are a few from their session…
