I have been busy editing pictures from the session I did with Santa and eight different families, but I had to take a little time out to post this adorable family’s session. I met Traci through Reagan’s playgroup, and was thrilled when she asked me to do a family session for her this past weekend. Big brother C, little brother C, and sweet baby sister A were as cute as can be and an absolute joy to work with. Here is your sneak peek!

Last weekend I rented a 50mm lens from Arlington Camera, and I think I am in love. I can’t wait until I can call this dreamy little lens my own! Maybe next month? Yes, that was a not-so-subtle hint to my dear husband! With this sweet little lens I took a few family portraits for my dear friend Cherie and her adorable little family.

Cherie has been my friend for almost forever, ever since the days when we both worked in fashion (by fashion what I really mean is Foley’s Department store). She is the one person that truly understands what it is like to move 15 times in just 11 years, she is always supportive and always kind, and I am so thankful for her in my life.

I had the honor of photographing perhaps the most polite family in all of Texas this past weekend, and the kiddos were so well behaved! This handsome little man is in my daughter’s first grade class, and I have really enjoyed getting to know all of you a little better over the past couple months.
